core saw 024

The Vermeer by McLaughlin CS418B core saw is designed to cut 4 – 18 inch (10 – 46 cm) diameter holes in hard surfaces, like asphalt and concrete, to help utility contractors safely locate and excavate underground utilities. The core saw is built on a portable, compact trailer measuring 137 inches (348 cm) long and 69 inches (175 cm) wide for easy job site access and can be towed with a ½ ton pickup truck. Core sawing creates less disruption to traffic, less manual labor and preserves the road integrity when compared to saw cutting. Powered by a 25 HP Kohler EFI engine, the core saw has a two-speed operation that can generate up to 380 RPM for varying job site conditions. The CS418B features an on-board water tank to cool the saw bit and can be easily moved into position with the telescoping and pivoting arm. Contact us for more information.

Telescoping boom sits on pivot table and covers an infinite range of cutting positions within left to right sweep and 16″ range in and out.
